Based out of Brooklyn, New York, Jon Kohen, according to Stereo Embers Magazine, consistently produces music that is "a riveting, rather transfixing listening experience that deserves the broadest attention possible."
Jon plays an acoustic baritone guitar, and sings like a little girl with a cold. Through collaborating with others, Jon creates lush, full, uplifting, and hauntingly beautiful music. He has collaborated with a string-quartet, a choir, and even a full-orchestra, in his Lowell, Massachusetts based project, Granite to Glass.
Currently, Jon is living in New York City playing solo acoustic shows, and is eagerly seeking collaborators. Right now, he is creating an atmospheric blend of solo acoustic guitar and vocals, digital beats, samples, and synthesizers. He made similar music on his debut EP, The Heart of the Machine, and the following full-length, Dead Reckoning.
